Wow! it's about time!!! I am now down another 2lbs, finally!!!! 2 Weeks!!!!! I think I got lucky, but there should be a rule that stalls can only last days, not weeks! Another rule should be that they aren't allowed to bug you more then once every 2 months! Too bad there isn't someone in charge of this!!!
I also spooked myself a little while back by spending too much time thinking about how My incisions were healing. 3 of them had hard knots behind them, and I was starting to wonder if they hadn't herniated. especially since I haven't done a great job of resting. I've been doing laundry since the end of the 1st week and the laundry room is in the basement. and Gardening, and potting plants etc. I have done several things I shouldn't have done. Now, however, I think I'm fine! if I did herniate something, then I should be having pain, or something at least when I am using those muscles. I don't, so I am fine. The knots were just scar tissue probly.
Still not doing a crack up job on the eating. I am blocking regularly. :-/ it is getting annoying. even stuff I am told I can have at this time of post-op. I had to get up last night, after I had gone to bed and been there for over an hour, to empty my pouch the wrong way in order to get to sleep. The particularly weird thing about that is I used to wish I could do that when my stomach would be miserable and couldn't. Now I barely have to think about it.
I talked to my oldest yesterday. I knew she was getting out of the Army at the 1st of this month, but I wasn't planning to see her til the middle of July. She had 25 year olds stuff to do before coming home. I was fine with that, as long as she was paying for it. I never gave myself the chance to do this stuff when I was a kid, so I have strongly encouraged my kids to do this stuff.
Anyway, she had allowed others to share in the task of firming up her accommodations, at certain stops, and they dropped the ball. so she is renting a car to head across country. I guess she'll be here for a little while before heading on to San Diego. So, She's coming home!!!!
My youngest daughter will be graduating on the 11th of June but since she was supposed to graduate last year, I don't know if she will be walking this year. I have encouraged her to. I think it would be good for her to have the memory of it for later. She hasn't informed me of her choice yet. This would be cool tho, cuz now her sis can be there! We'll see.

Hi Janelle,
I had exactly the same knots under my incisions. 3 of them. It took about 3 weeks for them to go down, but they did and my scars are almost gone. I haven't a clue about what they were but the doctor had just felt them the day before and wasn't concerned.
Hugs
Heidi
