I hate doing this part of the registration cuz I never know what to say. I am a mom to 3 grown, beautiful, and successful, children, and a wife to the most wonderful, supportive husband. Close Gastric Bypass Surgery
I had RNY Gastric Bypass on April 8th, 2008. My journey is just beginning, but I am looking forward to a wonderful ride!
Treatments
- Dietitian Consult Working / Worked
- I am working with one now to give me better ways to get my protein in and stay on top of all of the supplemental requirements!
Close Dystonia
My husband suffers from generalized Dystonia since 2003. It took 2 years before he finally landed on a Dr. that could give him the right diagnosis.
Treatments
- Baclofen Working / Worked
- apparently it has it's limits though as Howard has had to go off it. to re-sensitize to it.

- Botulin Toxin Working / Worked
- whether it worked or not is a matter of perspective. It worked where it was injected but it was such a small area compared to Howard's entire body
- Clonazepam Not Working
- This made Howard VERY mean!! It was weird!
- Requip Working / Worked
- this worked for about 6mos. then wore off.
- Sinemet Working / Worked
- same as the requip!

I swear I had this filled out at one point! My son is just the next one down the genetic line with this horrid disorder. He is 24 and VERY happy to be done with the torture they call school...
