Close Multiple Myeloma
On July 31, 2006 I was diagnosed with MM & amyloidosis at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester. I was there for 4 weeks. I ended up at Mayos because the other two hospitals I went to could not figure out what was wrong with me. Amyloidosis is the deposit of high levels of protien in certain organs and compromising their ability to function. Mine is my small intestine. I am limited to what I can eat,with that I am on home nutrition daily.It has the vitamins and minerals that I need to stay alive.
Treatments
- Dexamethasone Working / Worked
- I do experience some night sweats and insomnia.
