Well, I found out I was positive a year ago. I went to the doctor not knowing what was wrong with me, but I was having major pain going through my body and I started to drop weight rapidly. When I was asked to take an HIV test, because of my blood test results. I complied, and when I was told that I was positive, I just said what I need to do to get healthy. My doctor was very suprised. She did not expect me to be so calm, but my focus was on my child. I have to make sure I am here for her.

- almost undected because of this medicine, but exercise and eat healthyit can cause weight gain

- Prayer has helped me get through some tough times. Every moment I get, I pray because I know it was a higher power that allowed me to continue to be here. I thank God every day, and I know that I am still here for a reason.

- I exercise everyday to keep in shape. Most of the HIV medication cause excess weight gain and I excerise to keep my weight under control.
