When not obsessing about IF and IVF, I like to read and cook. We just remodeled our house - just need a baby to complete our home and family! We also love traveling and scuba diving - but that's been put on hold indefinitely while ttc.

Thanks so much for checking in on me and all your kind words and wishes. I hope this is it too--I'm too worn out to do anything else! :) Right now just hoping not to get canceled as hormone levels aren't quite cooperating but we'll see. How is Lauren??

Thanks!!! I am finally feeling pretty good. I can't believe how big i am for only 17 weeks. Trying to enjoy each day. I hope you're doing well. Hugs!

I hope you don't mind . . . I just re-read your journal (as you got ready for ER through your BFP and first ultrasounds) . . . and it made me feel a lot better . . . and more hopeful again. I sure hope I will follow in your footsteps!!! And I am trying to focus on the similarities . . . you had 14 retrieved, I had 12 . . . we both had 9 fertilize and develop . . . you transfered 1 blast, 1 morula and 2 others (right?) and I transfered 1 blast and 2 morulas, both of us on a 5 day transfer, we're both 40, we both work with kids, you're from Hawaii and I love Hawaii . . . ok, so I'm obsessing (as usual!), but at least you gave me some positive material to obsess about today - THANKS!! I sure hope the similarities keep coming!!

My DH and I have been together for 11 years, married for 3. We've been "not not trying" for over 3 years, actively TTC for the last year. Our biggest obstacle (that we know of - everything else is normal): The big 4-0 coming up in November.
Treatments
- Artificial Insemination Not Working
- 1 cycle of IUI w/ Clomid.
- Clomid Working / Worked
- I ovulate normally anyway (at least acc. to the POAS tests). Dr. prescribed Clomid "just in case." 4 cycles.
- Follistim Working / Worked
- (+ menopur) 15 follies...
- hCG (Human Chorionic Gonadotropin) Working / Worked
- Trigger shot.
- HSG (Hysterosalpingography) Working / Worked
- In Vitro Fertilization Working / Worked
- 1st IVF worked! Beta #1 12dp 5dt: 417. Beta #2 15dp 5dt: 1579. 1st U/S: 10/17. We're cautiously optimistic and starting to get excited! Official due date: June 16
- Acupuncture Working / Worked
- Treatments immediately before and after ET, plus 3 weekly follow up treatments.
Close Pregnancy After Loss/Infertility
Just found out Fri. that IVF #1 worked - beta of 417. Beta #2: 1579. 1st u/s will be next Wed., 10/17. I'm now officially cautiously optimistic!
