Close Atrial Fibrillation (AFib)
I knew there was somthing wrong with my heart since my early 20's. It was finally dianosed as afib at age 47. I have now been living with it for over six years. I have tried many different drugs and am now on Sotalol 160 x 2 and Warfarin 5 MG daily alt 7 1/2.
Treatments
- Betapace Somewhat Helpful
- I have been taking Sotalol for about four years now. It gives my heart a calm feeling but I am still having afib every 4-8 weeks. This drug makes me tired all the time and I have gained weight with it.
- Coumadin Working / Worked
- I am on Warfarin (Coumadin)for the rest of my life or untill I find a way to stop the afib.
- Diltiazem Working / Worked
- I take one 30 MG Diltiazem when I go into afib. This keeps my heart rate down enough so that I don't have to go to the ER room with a very high heart rate. It also makes it so I can get up and go to the bathroom with out getting light headed and feel like I will pass out.
Close TMJ
A few times a year my TMJ acts up.
