Close Fibromyalgia
I have been diagnosed with fibro for over 12 years. This past year I was told the fibro may be the cause of a biotoxin illness, so things keep getting more complicated. I am so sick of feeling badly and thought it was time to connect with others on this!
Treatments
- Cyclobenzaprine Working / Worked
- Helps at night to releave enough pain so I can get some sleep.
- Cymbalta Somewhat Helpful
- Cymbalta is great for the depression associated with fibro and decreases the pain but not enough. Felt awful when I went off it.
- Lyrica Working / Worked
- Used this a while back before it was Ok'd for Fibro use. Worked well with my hands and may go back on it.
- Neurontin Working / Worked
- Works well for the tingling and hand/foot pain I have struggled with.
- Ultram Working / Worked
- I take this as a PRN for pain. Helps take the edge off.
- Rozerem Working / Worked
- Helps with sleep although I also take Trazadone and Lunesta -- but together I can actually sleep through the night!
Close Environmental Allergies
Type of allergy: OtherI was diagnosed in Jan. with a neurotoxin in my system which turned out to be toxic mold. The doctors believe this is what causes my fibromyalgia.
Treatments
- Allergy Shots Working / Worked
- I was getting shots for allergies since the ago of 5. I finally am on a allergy shot holiday and still doing OK.
- Nasonex Working / Worked
- Helps during high allergy season.
- Singulair Working / Worked
- I think it helps but am not honestly sure.
- Zyrtec Working / Worked
- Helps a lot keeping the allergies at bay.
