Happy father's day to all the wonderful Father's. It is a beautiful day to day. I'm one very lucky girl to have had such a great father. In fact I had a birth father that I really did get to know. I pray I will get to meet him some day. I was adopted when I was 7 years old into a very good family. My parent's had two son's of there own and adopted 6. My dad taught me many lessons in life . He was a hard worker and worked long hours. He owned a Dry Cleaners for many years. We had a beautiful home all the food we could eat. My mom made my little dresses. I grow up a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. LDS or Mormon. He was patient and loving but strict. Every Sunday while we went to Sunday School dad would make us Fried Chicken. So our joke was Chicken every Sunday. We had alot of family gatherings at our home with alot of food. My parents taught me the importance of a clean home. I would just like to thank my dad for the great example he was to me. He passed away June 5, 1996 to as a tribute to him I wore the dress I wore to his funeral. How many fathers would take a 7 yr. old into there home? I'm the lucky one to be able to call him Dad.
I'm very grateful to have a supportive husband that loves me very much. He is always letting me know what a great wife that I am. He takes good care of me. More than I really deserve. I'm happy to be known as his wife.
God bless you all this day and always with big Hugs ~~~~~~~~Suzanne

Suzanne, that is truly a beautiful tribute to your father. (and your husband) YOUr folks must have been very special people. It is really neat that you wore the dress in his memory too. What is extra special, is that you can still fit into it after that many years. Many of us gain dress sizes as we age. Great job! Love JOAnn
