It's amazing how time flies!!! I can't believe I have not logged on in months!
My last journal entry I talked about Magic. She was diagnosed with Navicular. It has been a very long expensive road since to try to see if we can get her comfortable again. She is comfortable at a walk and occassionally at a trot. She is retired now....no riding. We are happy to have her as a pasture pet so we can keep loving and enjoy her as long as we can keep her out of pain!
The summer came and went so fast. It is so hot here in FL we did not ride at all. The weather is starting to cool down and we are all getting in the saddle again. My son is playing footbal and hubby coaching. It will be over in Nov thank god...LONG season for sure!
Getting ready for mad Thanksgiving/Christmas time. We are going to fly to family this year....YUCK!!!! I am excited to see family but not have to pack/travel and get all presents to another state!

It has been awhile since I last posted. I have been very sick. I finally got diagnosed with auto immune thyroid disease called Hashimoto's. I have been working with the Dr the last several months trying to find the right medication. The doctor said this could take several months, then a year or more once we are on the right dosage before I will start to feel better.
At the time of diagnosis I was bedridden. Unable to even get up and shower. I am now functioning 50% of the time so I have had some improvement. It is a hard disease and a difficult journey.
I hope all my friends have been doing well these last few months :)
