Been a while. Last time I tried to write I got booted offline and couldnt get back on. Since then Ive been kinda busy.....but Im back now. Over the past months Ive been out of work for my knee. Work Comp has been dragging around, for reasons my company has let me in on, but I cant really share online ;) Ive been back and forth between alabama and kentucky......mostly in kentucky. At least being off of work has given me great opportunity to spend more time with my gf. Shes off of work now also until the beginning of the year. She had to have surgery to have some tumors removed from her uterus......she was actually released from the hospital on Halloween. Im ready for Thanksgiving.....but not so ready for Christmas.....no work has drained my Christmas funding lol. But no worries, Im really looking forward to family time. My gf will be spending both holidays with her family, and me with mine. This is the first time in 5 years shes gotten to spend Thanksgiving with them because shes usually at work. And then she always spends Christmas with them. I really wouldnt have it any other way. I used to give up holidays with my family to spend it with my partners and never got the favor returned.....so I said thats not happening again. Plus, I wouldnt do that to my partner. Im just glad my gf and I both agree on the views of family time on the holidays, makes everything easier and everyones happy. Well thats all Im writing for now.....theres really not been anything too extravigant to report lol. Hope everyone is well. Hugs to all.
Its definitely been a while since Ive been on DS. I mostly use the pc for job hunting now. Although I am in a bit of a pickle. I am currently off of work on medical leave. Ive been off for a month now and still dont know all of whats going on. Its the same ole knee problems as last time......anyway I cant really start a new job right now because of this, and Im short on money. Ive moved out of my brothers house. My brother has moved out of his house. My sister in law is in FL with her grandparents for a month. My bro is staying with my mother mostly. I put all of my things in storage and just stay everywhere. I float around when Im in AL, but Im usually with my girlfriend in KY. She works and I do everything around the house.....Im not house wife material. I get entirely too bored. Im a clean freak so everything is pretty spotless.....I get bored and clean it 50 times over. I look forward to laundry day lol. I cook breakfast and dinner, play with the animals, paint, read.....sometimes watch tv, but there havent been any good spook shows on so i havent really been interested. Well, thats whats been going on with me lately......a fat sack of nothing. I hope my life gets a little straighter soon......not in that way though haha. Hope everyone is well.

Im so extremely happy! I just dont have the words to describe it! My girlfriend is so FABULOUS to me! We talk every day, every night......when we arent talking on the phone we are texting. Im thinking very strongly of moving to Kentucky to be with her. We've decided that I will not move unless Im able to get a stable, decent paying job lined up. And if that is not possible, she may put her house on the market & get her job to transfer her to here. Either way, we want to be together.
My brother and sister-in-law are in Kentucky now with my girlfriend. My brother has been having trouble finding work.....small part time jobs have not been working out because he doesnt get enough work. My girlfriend was here last weekend & had to leave Monday.....she called me that night & said she had some jobs lined up for my brother if he wanted. He & his wife drove up Tuesday. It was only supposed to be work for him, but the boss put his wife to work too.....so every thing worked out great. They are staying with my girlfriend, she has the room & very much enjoys the company. They are supposed to come back Friday to go to my cousin's wedding & then are going back to Kentucky Saturday. I dont know how long they will stay, but we are all considering moving there. There are alot more job opportunities there & we are all happy together. I am job hunting online for Kentucky, but I have to stay here for the now. I get lonely, but I get through it because I know that every weekend we are together.
She has opened so many doors in my life & my families. They all Love her....even my mother. She Loves them too & considers them family. Life is great.

hey...like to check in and read various journal entries on my "friend's list" every so often...happy for you. so how long have you two been together and how far apart do you live from each other? ...i want details lol but anyways...its always nice to see other people happy
