Well I guess I am feeling as well as can be expected. I started the 'trials' this week and ended up in the group for hormones only. A big relief there!
However I am also up for renewal of the county services, food stamps and medicaid. So far noone says I am disabled and still waiting for the reply from SSI etc. I still have my knee to fix and left wrist to reset so am not working.
I have been earning money online tho as the economy everything is coming to a very slow process so even my rent tho small is beginning to drive me nuts as funds I had coming in are not now...fact is in the back of my mind is the possibility of becoming homeless...
I guess I should try and get the bad knee fixed first, hopefully while the medicaid is in force yet then the wrist...maybe this way they will keep me on for a while yet..
Have a great weekend everyone! Try and keep dry! We have more storms coming thru later...
hugs and blessings to all!!

well as my luck has it day 2 in the hospital enabled them to get me sitting in a chair, after a couple hours of sitting , on standing up I discovered that 'I sprung a leak', causing me to have to go back in surgery the very next night. Basically I went in Tuesday AM and was back home by late Friday afternoon.
Everyone here is awesome! They took up a collection, bought me a housplant. On checking in the hospital one of the admitting ladies gave be a beautiful 'angel pin'. and on the bed when I got in after surgery was a homemade quilt in pink, blue and white..very beautiful!
I am having the VNA come around. So she was able to change my dressing and it does feel a tad better....I will have tempory help geting things done around the apt...as long as is needed...
in about 2-3 weeks I am getting a new little buddy to have here. Seems our maintenace man's family has birds for pets and one just had babies...I was one who had been asked if I would like to have one...also the other gals wil be taking up a collection to get me a cage and some seed to get us going right...it'll be nice having another one in here with me..:)
my followup is for weds....4/8...he said he removed 4 nodes and they were all 'negative'....the rest we hear as I see him.....
take care my friends and hang in there!

I'm so glad your surgery went well. I also am glad you have a vna coming in to help you as long as you need it. Good news the nodes were negative, praise the lord. That is so nice of the collections people took up for you. Its nice to have positive people in your life that care. Get well soon. Kelly

I am so sorry things are hard for you. This economy is tuff for everyone. SSI sure can take some time and some get denied and have to appeal. I hope you can continue to make money on line to survive. Kelly
