      Where to start....at 17, I married an abuser. He beat me, killed my pets, cheated, held a gun to my head, and when he got tired of that, he hit me a few more times. I'm 51 now, married to the man of my dreams, and he has to put up with these memories coming back, and effecting me like it did back in the 70's. I had a daughter from that relationship. She has allowed this man back into her life after 20 years.

      I lost my 16 year old son to suicide 5 years ago. He was living with his dad in Texas. I wasn't welcome at his funeral. It breaks my heart to see his picture and know he would be a man now. i wonder if he never had a chance because of my emotional issues.
