I know what it feels like to live in the world of dreams. Carl
I'm a 31y/o male. I was diagnosed with narcolepsy when I was 14 y/o. I was the star jock, straight A student. The summer of my 7th grade I grew several inches and it instantly began. The sleepiness, the cataplexy, the sleep halucinations. Teachers said I was on drugs due to the fact I couldn't stay awake. After passing a physical/cat scan with flying colors my family doctor told my mother she was crazy; there wasn't anything wrong with me. Someone told us about a sleep specialist.
