About Me
I am a writer and published author of a book entitled "Missed Blessings". A book about my daughter Jen who was born with Spina Bifida and later developed Hydrocephalus at age 7 weeks. She is now 34 years old. To order the book email me at victoryonthethirdday@cox.net I completed two Units of Clinical Pastoral Education inorder to become a Volunteer Hospital Chaplain. I love visiting people who need a smile or a prayer. I am a caregiver to my husband who was just recently diagnoised with dementia. He is the love of my life and I count it an honor to care for him. He has always honored me and loved me unconditionally. To that I am deeply grateful. I love to laugh, my favorite comedian is Lucy Ball

It was so nice to chat with you yesterday. I really enjoyed it. I'm keeping you and your family in my prayers!! Bless your heart. You are going through a lot right now. I'm glad you are doing some wonderful reading. God is with you all the way!! So am I! I suffer from bipolar. The drug Abilify did wonders for me. I've been stable for years. My doctor sees no signs of bipolar when I see him. He said I've really change for the better. If you ever need advice or help, just message/hug/chat with me. I think the world of you Sue! You're not alone through this!! I truly believe in the power of prayer. Keep strong my friend, and take good care of yourself too!! You're just as important!! Love you much, xoxo

Your hug was so lovely!! It really put a smile on my face :) I'm so sorry about your blood pressure. Bless your heart! I'll say a prayer for you! I'm glad you're taking it easy this weekend by reading some books. It's always wonderful to just breathe and relax. I've been doing well lately. I've been having a lot of coffee dates with dad :) We have wonderful chats. Mom's medication had to be increased, because she was grabbing people. Hopefully, this will calm her. Bless her! She's healthy and happy :) I can't believe it's been a year since she's been in the Alzheimer's Unit. Time sure does fly by. Dad and I will be spending Thanksgiving together. I'll be helping him preparing the feast :) It should be a nice and relaxing holiday. I'm always thinking about you Sue! You're so wonderful! I'm truly blessed to have you in my life!! Close Dementia
My husband was recently diagnoised with dementia. He is only 61 yrs old. HE retired as a Chief in the AF and a very intelligent man. Now he can not do the thigns as before. My heart breaks to see him like this. WE have been married for 19 awesome yrs. I really need some support to help me get through this. Hoping that this will be one outlet that will help me to adjust if possible to this sad disease.

Close Celiac Disease
My husband was diagnoised with Celiac disease in 2004. His symptom was sudden weight loss. After numerous cat scans MRI's , Endospy & colon oscopy the doctor finally decided to check the gluten level and it was way of the charts. In March of this year he was diagnoised with Dementia due to Celiac Disease. The neurologist said that his body was producing an abundance of anti-glutens and that was causing his brain to shrink. WE have him on a strict gluten free diet. It is so hard to deal with.

- AS soon as he stopped eating gluten he began to gain weight again. He is still under weight but he looks healthy due to the vitamins adn minerals I give him as well as many enzymes.
Open Spina Bifida
Type: otherMy daughter was born with Spina Bifida meningomyelocele 32 years ago. She has had 34 surgeries. She walks with short legged braces. She drives a car and just graduated with honors from the local vo-tech.
Open Shingles
I hate shingles. I only get them when I am under stress. I use only Nutrients when they attack and of course bed rest when possible
Open Depression
I have gone through some Clinical depression throughout my life. IT seems that God always has had the right person to help me get through it

- This has been a God send to me. When I write in my journal it is like I am writing a letter to God and then all of my problems and concerns become His. He loves to solve all problems.
Open Asperger Syndrome
My grandson Noah age 9 was diagnoised officially last year with Asperger Syndrome. My daughter and her family are comig here for Christmas and I need to know as much as I can to help her and for myself. He told me that he is staying the whole time with me. he misses me a lot as well as I miss all of my grandchildren
Open War in Iraq
I have two great-nephews that have served in Iraq. They are in the Marines. One is there now. The other came back in June but will return in January 2008. They love their country and support the President of the USA 100% They see the good that is going on there that the media does not want us to know. My great Nephews are my brothers grandsons. I keep theri pictures in front of me at all times and pray for them and all our military men and women everyday.
Open Hydrocephalus
My daughter was born with Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus. She recieved a programmable shunt in 2000. She had it readjusted with a magnet this year

I am the care giver to my husband who was diagnoised with Dementia last JUly. He also has Celiac disease and I have ot make sure he doesn't eat anythign with wheat in it. He does forget that he has celiac disease.

I have three family members who are diagnoised with bipolar. I need support to get through the bumps in the road.
