My partners sister whom also has lupus, goes to her dr. for injections in her scalp, which helps her grow her hair back. I do not know the name of it, because she is goofey. She has grown her hair long so that she can hide it when it happens. Her hair usually starts growing back in a few days after the treatment. She also has a large collection of hats. Their dad also has lupus, but his ends up being blotches of missing hair on his arms, chest, back or legs. Which is way better than on your head, but the dr told him that is has also effected his heart because of the location of the hair loss.
