I was on Depakote for three months, the nightmares were horrible. My doc had me wait it out. They got worse, and I was taken off the medication. Let your docs know you are having this reaction. If they do not subside after a few months you may need to stop taking it.

Close Tuberculosis (TB)
I am HIV positive and was diagnosed as having MDR-TB after an outbreak in a West London Hospital. I am a writer and my last two books were about TB. I also run a self-help website for people with TB/MDR-TB which is www.tbsurvivalproject.org
Close Bipolar Disorder
I was diagnosed Bipolar in January 2006. I have been on Seroquel (200mgs) which did make a difference, but I have been taken off of them because they caused cardic side-effects which were serious enough to end up in A&E on three occassions. I have now been prescribed Valproic Acid
