Close Breast Cancer
I am a 7 year breast cancer survivor and have been through the mastectomy, chemo, implant in, implant out (hated, hated, hated it). I'm 2 years off tamoxifen and look over my shoulder constantly. Couldn't do Arimidex. already have osteoporosis.
Treatments
- Chemotherapy Working / Worked
- If it weren't for Zofran... Chemo in August in Florida, too hot for a wig, went natural. Knocked me on my butt from fatigue.
- Mastectomy Working / Worked
- Began reconstruction while I was still under from the mastectomy. First was the tissue expander period (painful). Then the permanent implant. Lasted a year. Hated it.
Close Codependency
My sister is driving me nuts. She has no job, no income, no car and a surplus of medical issues. I am somehow stuck supporting her financially and emotionally. My marriage is stressed, I'm stressed and anxious almost all the time. She will land in my house within the next 2 weeks if she doesn't find a job.

- Talking is wonderful until I get in the middle of my sister and my husband. Then the crying takes over.
