My name is Andrea. I'm a 44 yr old woman living in Ohio my herd of cats & ferrets. I was DXed with Fibro in '01 and things have never been the same. I was an activ, physical person who loved hiking, gardening, working out, going to Renn fairs, etc. Now it's hard for me to get out of bed.

I've had a very hard time dealing with these changes, the unending pain, the constant fatigue and everything else that comes w/ Fibromyalgia. My depression is untreated due to a sensitivity to anti-depressants (they make my muscle contract quite painully and make my arms/ legs twitch &  jerk).

I'm also having a VERY hard time figuring out how to use this site!!! I can't seem to be able to join the Fibro community to chat although I've filled out the info page. Heck...it took 5 tries in 2 days to be able to journal!  lol  Guess I'll just keep on keepin' on.  Wish me luck!
