PLEASE PRAY FOR MY FRIEND LISA WHO LOST HER 17 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER IN AN ACCIDENT IN JUNE 2007.............
PLEASE PRAY FOR MY FRIEND LISA WHOSE 17 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER RENEE WAS KILLED IN A CAR WRECK IN JUNE 2007 WHEN THE DRIVER OF THE VEHICLE WAS UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF DRUGS. A 20 YEAR OLD GIRL WAS ALSO KILLED IN THE ACCIDENT WITH HER. WELL, TOMORROW IS THE SENTENCING FOR THE DRIVER (HE IS PLEADING NO CONTEST) AND SHE HAS TO GIVE HER VICTIM'S IMPACT STATEMENT TO THE COURT. I KNOW HOW HARD THIS IS AND IT SADDENS ME THAT ANOTHER PERSON HAS TO GO THROUGH THIS ORDEAL BECAUSE OF SOMEONE'S THOUGHTLESS AND CARELESS ACTS.
I WOULD LIKE TO ASK ALL OF YOU TO PRAY FOR HER AND HER FAMILY AS THEY GO THROUGH THIS. I ASK THAT YOU PRAY FOR THEM TO HAVE THE STRENGTH TO GET THROUGH THE PROCEEDINGS AND THAT THE JUDGE GIVES HIM THE MAX SENTENCES ALLOWABLE BY THE LAWS IN HER STATE. I ALSO WOULD LIKE YOU TO PRAY THAT THIS FAMILY FINDS SOME PEACE IN THEIR LIVES AS THEY ARE STILL GREIVING FOR THE LOSS OF RENEE.

Well, this man was sentenced to 7 years for his actions. That is only 3 1/2 years for each of these girls lives. In her state the laws are not as tough as they are here in Las Vegas. That is not enough time for his actions. And in reality he will probably only serve half of what he was given. When are we going to make tougher laws regarding drinking and driving?? Something needs to be done about it........Thanks for praying for them. Love, Jen
