  Thank you Jennifer! I have found that my memories of him are the happier ones. I do not visit the grave site because I prefer to remember him in the happy times and the cemetery brings back the rough times. I can talk to him through prayer and feel that visiting the gravesite is not the place to talk to him. When I am driving in my car, at work, on the golf course and anywhere I think about him is when I talk to him. Needless to say, I am constantly talking to him because he is constamtly on my mind. You take care and my thoughts and prayers are with you as well.

  I just wanted to tell you how much your words of kindness mean to me. I know we each have had to "battle" through this journey. We are doing ok, we are finally able to breathe easier knowing we will not run into this person atleast for now. Still learning how to live in a world that does not contain the one person who enabled me to survive... crazy but true, Erick was truly who taught me to love with my whole heart and loved me even with all my flaws.   Hang in there! I have not been on in months myself. I guess we are starting to get closer to normal. We will never be normal again, but, maybe we can get close.

  Hi Jen, It's great to hear your doing ok. The "kid" has yet to be sentenced and may not be.... the judge rejected the plea agreement. So now we are in the "wait and see" stage again. I have also been swept up in the daily existence and haven't been able to find the energy to get on here lately either. Sending you love and hugs, Vera

  Hi Jen: Just got your message tonight (Mon. 9th) and am happy to know that your are back communicating with people at Daily Strength. It is a good thing to share your losses and victories with other people here so they can be encouraged. Life can be very cruel and that is why God's lovingkindness is better than life! He can bring anybody through anything so that they come out smelling like roses. It doesn't seem that way at first, but I am thankful for everything I have suffered in life because I am well equipped to bring others through their pain and if I had not suffered, I would never be able to understand how people feel, nor would I have the compassion to give. Suffering will either make you angry or better. We get to choose! Love Denita
