we got back from the vet a little while ago. bindi has chose a little box she likes to sleep in doesnt want to sleep in her bed so she is sleeping in my little red box with her blankies atm. usually they run around the house but naked n only wear clothes outdoors but i wanna keep her warm so shes wearing her little pink hoodie.. i am STILL trying to fix her cot back up so i can keeo a closer eye on her and to give her some space from the other dogs..
the vet says she has an inflamitary (sp?) infection in her stomach. he gave her a shot of anti biotics which she tolerated very well then he gave her a slightly bigger needle and she decided one was plenty and she tried to bite him he pulled his hand away and she flung her head back so the needle jolted and her neck was pouring of blood all over me. that shot was to stop her being sick for at least 24 hours. now she isnt aloud any food for the next 24 hours only the lectol formula the vet has given us. she has 20ml of that every hour on the hour for the next 24 hours. il tell ya what it has in it in a moment after i make it up.
after the 24 hours she is only aloud to eat chicken and rice or potato and white fish for the next week.. if she keeps being sick or gets diarrea im to take her straight back. we was almost half hour late for the vets as he was supposed to finish at 3 but we have a nice vet who saw her anyways before he went home. he weighed her too and the little fatty weighs 2.1kg now.. lol not long and she will ben half angels weight coz angel is only 5kg
okies so i will shut up now and ill go make up bindis forumal and then continue to TRY fix this damn cot up lol.

oh i forgot to mention he isnt sure what caused the infection but he said it might have something with the new treats i gave her at dog training.. she only had 2 of them aswell so from now on its chicken at training.. shes gonna make all the other doggies jelous lol

ok so my bad it is actually called lectade and its has everything she needs to keep her going in it... glycine, citric acid, potassium citrate, potassium dihydrogen phosphate, sodium chloride and glucose monohydrate.. she has her first 4 syringes tonight at 7pm in less than 5mins

Give Bindi a gentle hug from me, glad you have her sorted out, I am sure she will improve quickly, they usually do.Its very worrying though.Angel will look afte her!!

angels band from going near her for 24hours. hence why im STILL trying to fix this damn cot up lol i just cant do it grrr.
i got her 20mls down her and so far no sickkies, but she did gag alot for a little while afterwards so i am gonna take her does down to 10ml for a while when she takes it with no problems ill up it to 15mls and then back up to 20mls

thanks bb4.. i upped her dose to 15mls now almost 20mins ago and so far so good so i should be back on 20mls before morning. just hope i can stay awake. if i get through tonight n tomorrow with no sleep i can then sleep lol

maaaan im exausted it is 4.40am and havent had sleep in 2 days.. i think im gonna wait till 5 give her another dose and then let me n her get some sleep for a few hours then back onto the hourly doses
