Close Bipolar Disorder
I was diagnosed with bipolar in my 30s. Before that I thought I was crazy and was afraid to tell people the things that were going on with me. I had been depressed since childhood and then in my early 20s began having mild mania and hypomanic episodes. I was in marriage counseling when I discovered I was bipolar. Itwas a relief to know I wasn't crazy. My tdoc diagnosed me with BP and it was a relief.

- helps my agitation a lot.Racing thoughts, hypomania.

- Helps me sleep,but made me gain 50lbs. I'm decreasing my seroquel and getting off it so I can lose the weight. I'm a little worried about sleep

- Been going to the same therapist for 12 yrs.

- Helped relieve my depression.
Close Alcoholism
I am a recovering alcoholic. Started drinking at 15 to self medicate. sobriety date is February 14, 1979, 28 yrs sober.

- The first time I went to meetings I slipped, but the 2nd time I made it. I had to surrender to God,my higher power, and work the steps and go to meetings.

- AA worked for me.
