Reading your story was like reading my own....except Doxy didn't work out for me. I am happy for you and hope things continue to go your way. It's funny because I live in the same situation, in the woods..LOL. I have found 3 ticks on me in the past week luckily nothing bit me because I am a walking can of bug spray..lol.I now wear high boots, tuck my pants in and light colored clothing...and YES the paranoia is in me too, I'm always flicking things off me and looking around now..lol.

thank you for the reply on the post. I really am interested in seeing how the test goes next week. I think this can open up a whole new mind set to this lyme discussion. I do have a positive lyme test too but I still want to know if I have this and it can take care of many of my symptoms. take care and have a nice day friend.. Chad

- Doxycycline Working / Worked
- Took Doxy, 100 mg twice daily for 21 days. The experience was dreadful. New side affects or symptoms almost daily. Ran in cycles of 2 to 3 days of feeling ok to feeling awful. 4 Weeks later - Feeling Great

Close Narcolepsy
A few years back I was diagnosed with sleep apnea. he doc wanted to put me on a breathing machine, I would not do it at the time. They saud I would be back in a year for the machine. Approx. 1 year later, went back, retested. THis time theysaid I had narcolepsy, not sleep apnea. Anyone else have 2 different diagnosis at a sleep clinic. Now they say I don't have sleep apnea, it is narcolepsy. Tried drugs to stay awake & go to sleep. Had allergic reaction. Just living with it now.
Open Arthritis
Recently diagnosed with arthritis in my lower back which is causing pain in my left leg. Have an appointment with a neurologist on the 9th of November.
