What a way to start the day. Shortly after rising I was greeted by the Pain Fairy. I don't know what I did to tick him off, I hadn't even had a cup of coffee yet. So in my little spunky way I challenged him with, "Is that the best you got? You can't do better than that? Come on, give me your best shot." I learned you don't mess with the Pain Fairy. So I offered him my sacrificial pain pill. Apparently that appeased him somewhat and he eased up some but left me with a reminder that he was still there lurking in the background. I think what he was trying to show me was the pain I have now is nothing compared to what it could be so enjoy what I have and quit my complaining. And so starts another day.
