Deep brain stimulation.
Preparing myself to attend clinic for tests and assessments on Thursday.
Required to arrive and present in an unmedicated state.
How I'll manage this running on empty remains to be seen, and seen it will be by those around to witness my intent and effort.
Being seen at my worst and given tasks to do and videotaped so as to have
a record to compare, a before and after scenario, appears to be the format.
Given Madopar my reaction to it will be then be observed and recorded.
Estimated time alotted is 4 hours plus. It looks like being one hell of a day.
No medication from 9 am the previous night, bloody hell what a prospect.
I will rise to the occasion.
Another day, another step forward, nothing worth having comes easy. I believe DBS is worth having and I'm worth having it,offcourse I am.
See how it goes.The day will come and be dealt with and I will Maintain A Winning Position.

Hope it is not to hard for you, l know you would be a little scared, l would, just the prospect of not having medication and actually feeling what it is like without the meds, woudl scare me.
But it is a positive move, have you got someone to go with, DBS will be worth it
