Close Miscarriage
My boyfriend and I discovered in March that we were pregnant. I was scared, but he was wonderful about it. Unfortunately, at my 2nd doctor's appointment, he couldn't find a heartbeat (at 8 weeks). Blood work confirmed dropping hormone levels and he told us we could wait for nature to take its course or opt for a D&C. We opted for the surgery, but emotionally it's been very tough...several of my friends and coworkers are pregnant and due around the same time...
Close Breakups & Divorce
My divorce has now been official for a little over a year. As painful as the separation and divorce process was, I am lucky to have been able to maintain a relationship with my former in-laws (who are wonderful people) and a quasi-friendship with my ex-husband, who is now remarried with a 7 month-old baby. He and I haven't seen each other in more than a year and I actually miss him.

- It's my therapy....sometimes I laugh, sometimes I cry, sometimes I yell....mostly all in the car.

- My two pups have been amazingly helpful...without them, I can't even imagine what the last two years would have been like.

- This was tough....I went to several sessions, but eventually "dropped out."
