Post MS: wifeless, childrenless, jobless, just less, I guess. I feel as if I'm in a dream. Pre-MS and a short time after I "shorted" out with what I now know was MS I had been happily married with 2 beautiful daughters. I had worked in the following fields, usually 4 yrs at a whack, in order of subliminally declining physical prowess: 1.US ARMY/COMBAT MEDIC stationed in Alabama, Texas, Germany, Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington DC. (cardio-thoracic surgery unit) 2.Nursing Assistant (PG County, MD)and EMT (Germany) 3.Worked as a bar bouncer/security at various bars from Htown to Kirchgoens, Germany 4. Veterinary technician/assistant 4 hospitals/2 Animal ER's (PG County, MD/Washington, DC & Huntington, WV 5. Mental Health worker at a state ran mental hospital (part nursing assistant/part bouncer) Huntington, WV 6. Traumatic Brain Injury rehab worker in an assisted living home environment Huntington, WV & Ashland, KY 7. Telemarketer Huntington, WV 8. Webmaster of my own "commercial" website (now defunct)Huntington, WV

In no particular order: the web, philosophy, animals, genetics, spirituality, paranormal stuff, reading; (science fiction/fantasy/horror)well, anything but "romance", music (from bluegrass to reggae to jazz) Hard rock/heavy metal/alternative seems to be the steady, including the concerts and festivals I like to attend. Good-luck. I think best cbance is through a primary care physician as LDN is not in a Neurologist's 'lexicon'. My PCP said "well it can't hurt (which I always thought was the kind of attitude a PCP should have, i.e., don't worruy about some academic protocol to help MS just worry about my overall health (and my economic health as well). Diagnosed in July 2007. S&S have been with me since 2001, at least. My inability to diagnose myself (or even realize a diagnosis was necessary) and my inherent avoidance of medical treatment has cost me everything from my family to my self-employment. It's time (past-time) to regroup.
I have had arthritis since 1989. (21 yrs old) First dx as tendonitis, then as gout, then as Reiter's Syndrome now called Reactive arthritis by the politically correct, indicating Dr Reiter's association with Hitler & Nazi's .
