Hi Becky, I haven't heard from you in a while. I hope all is well. Sue
Hi Becky, The doc seemed to think it was a reaction to medication. The problem is that I am taking several medications and they are all "working". He has decided to keep me on the medications and hope that it is just my body adjusting to them. He told me if I experience that episode again that I should call 911 and go to the emergency room immediately. They can do all the blood work and a cat scan all at once and have the results within a few hours. In the meantime, he does not want me left alone so my son is staying with me. It is a little nerve racking because I still do not feel well. At this point I think that I have a lot of anxiety built up and that never helps. I am trying to relax but I am sure it will take an ambien in order for me to sleep tonight. Anyway, thanks for checking in on me. It is very appreciated. Sue
Hi Becky, It was great to hear from you. I have a lot of "support" in my life, however, none of them truly understand. This life altering experience has been very overwhelming. There is so much information out there but it can be so confusing at times. One site will say one thing is ok where another will say it is not. I am trying to stick to what the doctors tell me because I ignored things for years and look where it got me. I am feeling pretty good physically but emotionally very scattered and full of anxiety. This morning I woke up with an ear ache and that is how all of this started. It was a simple ear ache that turned out to be much worse. I am hoping that the ear problem has to do with TMJ but I don't really know. When I was in the hospital the doctor told me then that he didnt think it was my ear that had the problem at all. It just makes me nervous. I am going to go to the dentist and find out "IF" it is a TMJ problem or is it something more. I was told it could also be side effects to all of the medications that I take as well. I take 9 pills for breakfast as well as inject insulin twice a day. If it is side effects - which pill is it? I wouldn't have any idea where to start. I will start at the dentist and then go from there. Trying to stay calm about things. Thanks for support and for taking the time to share your story. It helps not to feel alone in this knowing somebody understands what you are going through. Have a great day and please keep in touch. Sue
