Sorry I have not been on here much, but have started my new job at the school(teaching assistant) and its going realy well. I work with two boys one age 7 and the other age 10, they both have dyslexia like me, The 10 year old would not even look at me in the class room, but now he always smiles and says thank you for helping him.The 7 year lod on the other hand still dont want to look at me, but I'm hoping to change that this week for he needs to learn his alpabet and for this he needs a one to one and thats me, so hopefuly he too will get to like me in the same way. I love this job and its made such a difference to the way I see myself, not just dyslexic but knowing I can do some good and pass on my confidence. HUGS JAA

i'm the mum of 4 children one of which is awaiting diagnosis of autism all the doctors have said he's got all the signs of autism its just the waiting game which is so painful
i have 6 yr old daughter who i think may be dyslexic i've had my suspicions since she started school but threw them to the back of my mind in case it was just me but she's now about to start her 3rd yr at school and she's no better than she was when she started so any info anyone can give me is greatly appreciated.
since having my 4 children my weight has fluctuated and i've tried all kinds of diets and its now starting to really get me down i want to be fit and active for my kids
i have a 2 yr old daughter who doesn't sleep at night and i'm hoping to get some advice

I already have a 5 year old son who is asd but i've just found out that my 9 year old son could have asperger's which has totally shocked me.
my 10 yr old son may be bipolar not yet confirmed and it really scares me coz he is so young i just want to try and find the best way possible for me to help and support him.
