Happy 2009, everyone.
I'm glad to turn the page on 2008 - it was a difficult year for many folks, myself included, and I'm happy to have a fresh start with both my personal and professional goals.
I spent a little bit of time in the sun, and a little bit in the snow these last few weeks, and now I'm fully re-energized and looking forward to new projects.
This year I'm hoping to compete in a bunch of 10k's and push my running, as well as generally get into better shape. I'm also aiming to embrace some new passions. I feel the weight of time and age, and it's pushing me to take action and do more with my time.
Here's to a happy, healthy 2009!

HAPPY NEW YEAR to you too :) To 2009! yeah!

I too am spending this whole year concentrating on a lifestyle change. I don't call it dieting. A change in eating healthier, working out, walking (not running I hate it). Good luck to you in your goals! Sharon

Right on bro! Way to take charge of 2009 right off the bat. With the realistic, organized goals you have set, there seems to be nothing reasonable that will get in your way. God Bless brother
