I'm 37 and am struggling with secondary infertility. I have an amazing daughter who is 14 from my first marriage. I married the man of my dreams on June 14th 2008. We've been ttc on our own for 2 yrs+ now. We had our first RE consultation 8/28 and AF has refused to show up ever since so I never made it to the baseline blood work/clomid challenge test and am heading straight to lap surgery and and D&C.I'm scared, anxious and excited all at the same time. UPDATE: had my 1st lap surgery on 11/5 and was LOADED with endo. Dr thinks he got most if not all and cleared it out. Tubes are open. RE f/u appt in 2 weeks to discuss official PLAN. YAY!!!!

Interests
Spending time with family. My DH is one of 14 so between us we have a large family with a ton of personalities so get togethers are always very exciting. Playing with our 2yr old black lab Zoe. Some days she's a terror but we LOVE her. Watching my daughter navigate the teenage years is exciting and terrifying at the same time.

Treatments
- Adoption Considering
- Would love to adopt and infant here or internationally but am a bit discouraged as it appears as though most organziations require you to be married a minimum for 3 yrs.
- Basal Thermometer Not Working
- This is a real PIA but I do it and my temps are all over the place. My sleep cycles are irregular so I'm sure that might contribute.
- Folic Acid Working / Worked
- Taking daily pre natal just in case we're lucky enough to see a BFP!
- Laparoscopic Surgery Too Soon to Tell
- Scheduled to have my 1st lap Nov 5th 2008
- Provera Too Soon to Tell
- Taking 10mg of Provera for 7 days to hopefully bring on AF before lap surgery and D C. So far no horrible side effects. Did have one day with moderate bloating and cramping not sure it if was related or just indigestion.
Close Infertility, Secondary
Struggling with secondary infertility. I have a 14yr old DD from my first marriage. Just married the love of my life on June 14th 2008. We've been ttc for 2yrs with no luck. Just saw an RE for the first time last week and dropped off the SA earlier today. As soon as AF starts I'll begin the Clomid Challenge. Very nervous waiting for results.

- Took for the 1st time in Oct to bring on AF...she went MIA for 54+ days.
