Oh my goodness! 200 pounds and looking like Barbie! well, as a brunette! You know people said to me that my attacks would stop if I lost weight but they didn't. Have yours always stayed the same? Hugs - Holliday BTW, I am feeling much better with new meds though ;o)
So sorry top hear you a re having mini-attacks. Supposedly amantadine is to help with that. Is it MS? If you have time, you might want to put a get well message on her journal entry. Within just 2 months she had the gastric bypass, then the pacemaker, and now the kidney removal - lots of stuff. She also has had her MS go from RR to Progressive. thanks ever so much!
I was diagnosed with TN 6 years ago and have experienced some pretty bad attacks. I never understood why people got depressed from having this until mine started back up again in 2006. Now I have pain on both sides of my face and the attacks seem to be getting more intense. When this all started, I was also told I had TMJ (on my right side of my face). This time around it is strickly facial nerve pain. No TMJ...and like I said has developed on my left side as well. Depression? I think so.

I am the Bariatric Support Group leader at the hospital where I had my surgery done. I have been their leader since 10-05. It has been a up and down 'journey for me. MOSTLY UP!
