Close Interstitial Cystitis (IC)
Diagnosed today with IC. The problem was first discovered when I passed a kidney stone and the pain wasn't relieved. I had suspected a return of my endometriosis, but thankfully, that isn't the case.
Treatments
- Bladder Distention Working / Worked
- It's been one week, and I can tell a difference.
- Bladder Instillation Working / Worked
- It was tough, the first go around, but I think it helped.
- Elmiron Working / Worked
- Has made a huge difference!

Open Lupus
Diagnosed about 11 years ago. I have had several doctors, not because of doctor shopping, but because insurance has changed several times. My Lupus is mild, with no organ involvement. I am a homeschooling mother of three and a pastor's wife. I have some very challenging moments! God has truely been my strength.

- One of the best drugs I've ever used!
- Prednisone Working / Worked
- Weight gain of course. But sometimes it's worth it!
- Daypro Working / Worked
- Had to stop taking this because my liver enzymes were triple the normal level. It really rhelped the joint pain.
Open Endometriosis
Diagnosed with Endo at age of 28. Very agressive endo. Had laparoscopy for diagnosis, tried depot lupron, and 3 months later had hysterectomy. Also had endo on my only remaining ovary. It was removed 5 years after my first hysterectomy.
Open TMJ
I have had TMJ for over 20 years. Just this past year, I finally when to a TMJ specialist. I wear a splint, and it makes an incredible difference with my headaches.

- Klonopin Working / Worked
- Helped relax me for a good nights rest! Really really helped while I waited for my splint to be made!
Open Hysterectomy
I had endometriosis, which forced my hysterectomy. I had this done when I was 28. I begged my DR. to leave an ovary if one could be salvaged. He left my right ovary, which was healthy after the endo was cleaned off, but I had to have my ovary removed five years after my hysterectomy.
Treatments
- Estrogen Patch Working / Worked
- Helps alot. I cant take oral hormones because I have lupus. This little patch helps and it doesnt burn my skin like the climara patch.
- Estrogen Patch Working / Worked
- Patch didnt stay on very well and burned my skin literally. I would have a red round blister for 2 months where I had placed my patch. Ouch!!
Open Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS)

- The best thing I have ever found for this condition!!
- Avoid Certain Foods / Chemicals Working / Worked
- Grease is a killer! If I want to be problem free, I have to eat bland foods. Only problem is, I love fried foods!
- Imodium Working / Worked
- Kinda overkill! It would take more than one to help, but more than one would severely constipate me.
- Librax Somewhat Helpful
- Dried my mouth and eyes out toooo much! And made me severely constipated.
- Peppermint Somewhat Helpful
