OMG am I having a bad day! This morning everything was going fine til about 11 am. The dogs were outside playing for about 10-15 min and everything was fine, but when I let them in I notived our dog Lucky, a 1 yr old husky/malamute/wolf mix, was limping and not putting much pressure on her front right paw. I thought maybe it was from the snow and didn't really give it another thought. I checked on her at 12 and it wasn't any better and by 3 it was the size of our St.Benard's paw, double or triple her normal size. I freeked out and was calling everywhere to find a vet that is open at 3 on a Sunday. I found a place so me and my mother in law took her and we found out she had a bad infection. WTF? When could she have got it? She was ok when she went outside and now she's terrible! So they got her drunk on meds which was SO FUNNY! and they made a little cut in her paw on the infection and they said bloody puss was comming out *GROSS* and she was so nervous she peed on them lol. She's ok now (it's 9:30 pm) she's just crying and whinning because she has to be apart from our other puppy Henry, the st. benard. And as u have seen in pics, they are VERY close. So they are both gonna be sad because they have to be apart from eachother until she is all healed which can take up to 3 weeks! I'm tired!!!!!!! In the pic u can tell how much it's swollen!
