I have had such a stressful week, and everytime I get stressed my body goes to pot. LORD HELP ME!!!!

I married my high school sweetheart. We've been married for 18 years. We have two girls-15 & 17. We have 1 granddaughter-2 months old. I have had chrones since I was 15, and have had 2 surgeries.

Close Endometriosis
I was first diagnosed at 17 after the birth of my first child and before the birth of my second. I had a laperoscopy which I found really!!!! helped with the pain. It was an outpatient procedure and I was able to get back to normal fairly quickly. It didn't cure it and it did come back a couple of years later, but I went back in for another laperoscopy to remove it. I found the down time well worth the pain free time I gained from having the surgery.
Treatments
- Surgery Working / Worked
- The surgery removed what was there, but did not keep it from coming back. I felt it was worth it in the end.
Close Crohn's Disease & Ulcerative Colitis
I have had chrones since I was 15. I had my first surgery 2 weeks after the birth of our first daughter and my second surgery last August. I had no problems or flare up during pregnancy or while I breastfed my daughters. I wish now I was still pumping (ha ha ha). I have a wonderful husband and two great girls that have been there.
Treatments
- Asacol Working / Worked
- I used it for years early on and it was really helpful. I was put back on it when I had another flare up and developed a rash and am no longer able to take it.
- Azathioprine Working / Worked
- I was on it a couple of times but had alot a side effects I felt were worse than what it was supposed to be helping. I am no longer taking it.
- Azulfidine Working / Worked
- worked for a while and then I guess it peaked on its potential for me and I am no longer taking it.
- Prednisone Somewhat Helpful
- worked for the inflamation after my first surgery but I had severe withdrawls when it was time to taper off and will not take it EVER again
