One day a woman's husband died, and on that clear, cold morning, in the warmth of their bedroom, the wife was struck with the pain of learning that sometimes there isn't "anymore". No more hugs, no more special moments to celebrate together, no more phone calls just to chat, no more "just one minute." Sometimes, what we care about the most gets all used up and goes away, never to return before we can say good-bye, say"I love you."
So while we have it, it's best we love it, care for it, fix it when it's broken and heal it when it's sick. This is true for marriage.....And old cars... And children with bad habits and report cards, and dogs with bad hips, and aging parents and grandparents. We keep them because they are worth it, because we are worth it.
Some things we keep -- like a best friend who moved away or a sister-in-law after divorce. There are just some things that make us happy, no matter what.
Life is important, like people we know who are special.. And so, we keep them close!
I received this from someone who thought I was a 'keeper'! Then I sent it to the people I think of in the same way.... Now it's your turn to send this to all those people who are "keepers" in your life, including the person who sent it, if you feel that way. Suppose one morning you never wake up, do all your friends know you love them?
I was thinking...I could die today, tomorrow or next week, and I wondered if I had any wounds needing to be healed, friendships that needed rekindling or three words needing to be said.
Let every one of your friends know you love them. Even if you think they don't love you back, you would be amazed at what those three little words and a smile J can do. And just in case I'm gone tomorrow.
I LOVE YA!!!
Live today because tomorrow is not promised..
LITTLE JOHNNY STRIKES AGAIN..........
The teacher asked the class to use the word "fascinate" in a sentence.
Molly put up her hand and said, "My family went to my grand dad's farm, and we all saw his pet sheep. It was fascinating."
The teacher said, "That was good, but I wanted you to use the word "fascinate, not fascinating".
Sally raised her hand. She said, "My family went to see Rock City and I was "fascinated."
The teacher said, "Well, that was good Sally, but I wanted you to use the word "fascinate."
Little Johnny raised his hand. The teacher hesitated because she had been burned by little Johnny before. She finally decided there was no way he could damage the word "fascinate", so she called on him. Johnny said, "My aunt Gina has a sweater with ten buttons, but her tits are so big she can only fasten eight."
The teacher sat down and cried!
hey just wanted to say hi and hope you are having a good day
Hugz 2 a good friend .. Ray
You're a friend For all times If you planted hope today In any hopeless heart If someone's burden was lighter Because you did your part If you made someone laugh out loud And kept their tears at bay Then today has been For you my friend A very special day
My husband and i are foster parents of 3 special needs children. One of the foster children is 7 yrs old and both me and my husband feel like we are at our wits end, and we don't know where to turn anymore. This child is begining to take things in the middle of the night, such as food, and he eats until he makes himself sick. We have tried to explain that this isn't appropriate, but it's like he doesn't care. There are many other things that he does, such as he's extremely violent to others.
my husband and i are foster parents of 3 special needs children and they all have adhd, we are looking for some support and new ways to help these children...
I have been married for 9 years and before we became foster parents our marriage/relationship was really good. About 1 yr ago, our marriage stated going down hill because our communication went right out the window. It seems like everytime we talk it's always about the kids and we never make anytime for just us. Since we are foster parents we never get any us time as we are restricted to who can babysit the kids, which is putting a huge strain on our marriage. We are still very much in love!
I have been married for 9 yrs and my sex life was pretty good up until about 1 yr ago...My husband started withdrawing from me and distancing himself and i'm not too sure why that is...Sex in our relationship is pretty much next to nothing, and there are a few things in our sex life that i would like to try, but my husband thinks that it's gross, and i don't think it's too outragous...
