( this is a letter from Nick:)
I see my life and all the people, experiences and situations in it from the viewpoint of unity and oneness...when I do not see things from this perspective I suffer because then I am in a state of separation and imperfection. I seek ways to act our practical unity.
THERE are two ways to approach our life, other people and the world at large.
One is to see things from the viewpoint of unity... of oneness... of connection... of sameness
The other is to see things from the viewpoint of separation... of individualism.... of ego... of difference...
And depending which pair of glasses we use to see the world will determine whether we paint heaven or hell into our experience.
So today, as you look in your own mirror and see your own reflection, what do you choose to see?
Are you going to see the magnificent divine angel filled with love?
Or are you going to see a face that could have seen better days, could be improved, displaying fear and uncertainty in its expression?
And when you look upon the faces of others, what do you see?
Do you see the face of love in those features... do you see the God or Goddess shining through the soul in front of you?
Or do you choose to see ugliness, separation, arrogance, aloofness, fear and all those other attributes that take you away from unity with that person?
And so it is with everything you perceive!
Do you see the ugliness of the situation.. the imperfection... the futility... the danger... the isolation... the violence....
To find happiness and to be in love... each of us needs to comprehend and hold in our sights the face of oneness... of unity... as it is at spirit level or heart level.
Our mission on earth is to acknowledge and live our life from a position of unity..to consciously connect with the presence of love in our lives which emanates from the beauty and truth of our heart.
So we can look for and connect for loving presence in all sentient beings... we can home in on the same loving essence of each and every person... and choose to let go and not give due attention and importance to each negative trait of behaviour which is all about someone else's dysfunction and not about our connection.
We can speak words which unite and do not divide.
We can seek to dismiss notions and ideas of segregation, separation, boudaries and walls, exclusions.
We can instead embrace ideas of acceptance, healing, inclusion and a borderless world.
And we can adopt practical unity in our everyday lives.
This is the language of the heart.. which we use already but can always intensify and increase.
A smile unites... so does a helping hand... a call of concern...a warm embrace... a hug... a fleeting touch... a kiss or a cuddle...the healing attention given when we listen... when we appreciate... when we praise.. when we give recognition to someone's talent... when we invite people to join us... when we include... when we communicate.. when we bring people together.
It does not bear thinking about, really, just how doing the opposite or not doing this wounds the world so much.
When we bring our light to dark places... when we bring the God or Goddess of our being into the world outside...we are doing something to bring a unity consciousness to all of us.
But the most important thing of all for us is to hold this unity consciousness or consciousness of oneness that is in our heart as a state of mind.
And as a state of mind we can now live our life from that basis... that we unite, bring together and heal... rather than do the opposite despite what others might do.
It is in our oneness we find our bliss and our peace of mind.
It is when we are not in that state of consciousness that we are unhappy and unfulfilled.
The choice is ours... do we wish to be in unity and oneness... or do we want to take the journey alone?
So dear and so beautiful friend... do open your amazing heart and share what is going on for you on this subject or any subject....
I love you

Some one emailed the letter above to me.
It sort of hits home. I'm usually unconditional love. Doesn't matter how you treat me I always return to balance. Only recently the opposite is true....I trust no one. I take everyone personally. I would rather be alone than deal with people. This is not normal for me.

This is wonderful..I is so easy to fill at times that we make now difference in the lives of others. That is such a farce and a wrong way of thinking. One action either positive or negative sends a ripple out to the universe...thank you for making my life better.

That letter describes the way I see life all the time....except in this moment. For some reason I am the opposite of myself at the moment. I would rather avoid everyone. Like dealing with wild animals..... don't make EYE contact with the humans...who knows what may happen.

I see the oneness, but others don't, so I see it behind a glass as an observer of the world passing by. Few see on to my side, but those few are special
