It's Friday October 10th, 2008. I have lost 160 pounds to date. Only 53 1/2 more to go. I feel better thanI have in 20 years.
I began a diet on January 1, 2006. I lost 100 pounds the first 8 months but I have reached a plateau and it has taken me a year to lose 25 more pounds. I am very discouraged and I need some encouragement and some ideas on how to break this plateau.

Ok. Here is how I lost my weight. I am 41 years old and moderately active. I eat 6 times a day. No more than 500 calories and no more than 55 carbs at each of your 3 meals. No more than 150 calories and no more than 20 carbs at each snack. If you stick to this and read your labels you will lose weight. Drink lots of water and try to avoid caffine & carbonated drinks. Caffine & Carbonated water puts the metabolism to sleep. Walk every day at least 20 minutes at a fast pace if you can.
