Contact your local Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and see if they have a support group. It can be overwhelming at times, so visit here often and post.

Hi and welcome to DS!! Let me be the first to give you a hug!! I was only diagnosed about 3 months ago so I don't know too much either about CLL but I've got an appointment with a hemonc (hemotologist/oncologist) in about 10 days and he wants me to get a "direct coombs" and "cbc" blood tests before seeing him. I also go to the Wellness Community for free group support once a week. It was started out in CA. and it's very helpful for support. So, anyway I'm glad you're here! Not sure if weight gain or depression is part of CLL (I like to think so :))but I'll keep you posted! I was named after my grandfather, papa Harry. Wonder how many people are being named that these days? Take Care! Harry
