Close Addison's Disease
I was first diagnosed with Addison's in 1997; and until now I didn't realize there was an on-line support group for Addison's Disease. I'm looking forward to not only sharing my story; but also hearing about other peoples stories. I look forward to making some new friends in this group.
Treatments
- Cortisol Somewhat Helpful
- The only thing I don't like about the Cortisol treatment is the fact that I'm constantly feeling bloated.
Close Diabetes Type 2
In 1997 when I was diagnosed with Addinson's; I was also diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes, Asthma, High Blood Pressure and Thyroid Disease. I guess you could say that '97 was a real bad year for me; and you'd be right!!!! I enjoy bowling, knitting and Sci-Fi/Horror movies and books.
Treatments
- Dietary Modification Working / Worked
- Considering the fact that my Diabetes is diet and exercise controlled; I guess I'm pretty fortunate that I don't have to take anything for the Diabetes.
