Stay at Home Mom. Married to my best friend. Our daughter is 3 years old & in preschool. She's healthy, happy, and has a lovely disposition. I was DX'd BP2 17 years ago. I've had many years of stabilization with medication. Currently I'm stable on meds after many years of hard work (2.5 years post partum). PCOS is also an issue & I'm forever trying to survive that. Hormones & BP -together they make it that much harder.

HOLY MOLY..70 Lbs! Is that with Jenny Craig? Girl..that is a fantastic accomplisment! I finally have started losing ..but like only 1/2 a Lb a month..arrghh too slow,BUT I did buy a new pair of jeans ,and they were 2 sizes smaller than my old ones..I could have gone down another size(they fit better in the thighs,and butt)..my my meds belly was too squishy and over flowed the top of the pants!LOL!! Happy to hear from you..sorry 'bout everybody in the house not feeling well,but thank Gos you're OK,a sick mommy is the worst! LOVE YA dd

Dx'd 1992 at age 23. Stable 1999 to 2005. After childbirth Post Partum Depression set in and been struggling since.

Close Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS)
Dx'd PCOS in 1999. For the past few years, my periods last 2 weeks. Have been on Metformin for years due to Diabetes type II. In 2005 I was able to lose 130 lbs. That with the Metformin gave us our daughter in 11/05. Would love to go back on the pill, but can't for medical reasons. Cysts bursting - lots of pain. No answers from Dr.'s.
