Had check up with Diabetic Dr. today My A1c was 6.3 thats the best I have ever done.

Failed to maintain my A1c at 6.5 this time back up to 6.8. Not too bad but wish I could have kept it down.

Close Prostate Cancer
Found cancer at 52. While doing a stress test getting ready for prostate surgery they found 3 blocked arteries so the done the bypass surgery first. The prostate surgery which was a radical was performed 9 weeks later. In hospital overnite. The catheter in for 13 days. Feel very lucky both problems were found and corrected.

Close Diabetes Type 2
Diagnosed in 90. Feel lucky because brother and sister are on insulin. Last a1c 6.6 after being 7.4 when I went to new specialist.
