I'm Brittany. Im 19 years old and my boyfriend joined the National Guard in 2006 when he was 17 and left for basic on July 31st 2007, 5 days after he turned 18. He did his basic training in Ft. Sill Oklahoma. Then he graduated AIT at Ft. Rucker, Alabama. Its been a rough ride but its worth it!! Its still hard but now he is home. Sometimes i do have a melt down and need support. Im also here to give advice too.

Close Anxiety
I think I used to have GAD back when my boyfriend left for Basic training. Now it has subsided and its not very often that I get nervous anymore. Right now just wondering what the future holds since there is now talk of my boyfriend being deployed. I dont want to be back where I was in 2007

- take a deep breath and count back from 5 down to 1 or just take deep breaths and let them out slowly

- they work very well...unless your doctor decides to re-test you and tell you that your allergies are getting better....then when spring gets here you cant even go outside! lol
