      21 year old son has paranoid schizophrenia - was diagnosed 3 years ago when he was 19.

      Treatments

      Clozaril Working / Worked
      Son started on clozaril last September after he suffered 5 relapses in one year. He is doing very very well on the clozaril.

      My brother died of inoperable brain cancer (2 tumors)in August (3 months after diagnosis). Lost a sister to the same kind of cancer 3 years ago (altho she had surgery). Lost my younger brother to a massive heart attack last year. Husband had a stroke 2 years ago. 21 year old son was diagosed with paranoid schizophrenia 3 years ago.

      This morning, my brother Gerry passed away from brain cancer. Lost my sister to brain cancer 3 years ago and another brother to heart attack 2 years ago

      My 22 old son was diagnosed with schizophrenia when he was 19. It is a long journey but I am being positive about it.

      This is the best medicine my son has taken. There are even days when I 'forget' he has sz.
      Risperdal Working / Worked
      Son takes 25 mg injections every 2 weeks in combination with his clozaril
