Type: EndometriosisMy husband & I have been trying to conceive for about 8 yrs now (since 2000). I have had 2 IVF's, 2 Laporocopies, 1 DNC & most recently one IUI.. None of which were successful. Now, I'm just taking some time off from "doctor-assisted trying", as I like to call it.
Treatments
- Artificial Insemination Not Working
- Just had this done Monday, 8-6-07
- Clomid Not Working
- years ago... Didn't work.
- Follistim Not Working
- I just love injecting myself with needles (fun-fun) - NOT!
- hCG (Human Chorionic Gonadotropin) Not Working

- In Vitro Fertilization Not Working
- Stressful! Neither attempt worked.
Close Shingles
Very painful! 1st, I thought headache, then I thought Inner-Ear Inf. Went to EN&T Dr and he said I have "Trigeminal Neuralgia". Now, my Neuro Dr. says that its Shingles
Treatments
- Hydrocodone Working / Worked
- I'm only taking 1/2 pill (.75) every 4-6 hours. It does seem to help some.
- Valtrex Working / Worked
- I just started taking this yesterday.. I've heard it works well (my Mom said it worked for her - she had Shingles in `03 & `04)
Open Interstitial Cystitis (IC)
I have not been diagnosed yet, but feel that there is a good chance that I have this. My life is all about peeing these days (LOL!>) I went to see a Urologist about this once or twice but never got tested because I had other things going on (Fertility Treatments and then Shingles). Now that those have subsided, maybe I'll schedule a test for this. I hope I don't have it.
