Diagnosed Bipolar1 (ultra rapid cycler), Hypersomnolence and ADD in 93. After many attempts to remove myself from the medications, I now have resolved that it is definitely something that I need. I'm hoping that I can find some friends on this website that know what Im experiencing and can offer some support. People that know me are SHOCKED when they hear that I have struggles with depression. I guess I hide it very well as I think we all do around strangers. I have 2 kids one 9 and one 21 (21 yr old not at home) and 1 niece that lives with me. I may as well call her my daughter. Married 13yrs to a wonderful man who has stuck with me thru the rough times. We were USAF for 9yrs and that really made things rough on me. I went on and off my meds several times changing stations. Avoiding hospitalizations several times.

I have 2 kids 9 and 21 (21 yr old not at home) and 1 niece that lives with me. Everything I do revolves around my family. My husband just graduated with a 4.0 Bachelors degree. Im so proud of him. Im in school to get my associates. Otherwise the only other interest I have is to shop. That is my time alone!! lol!!!

Thanks so much Malice, and if you ever saw that we were no longer friends, please let me know because I'm very good at removing friends when I go to give them a hug. I have just recently removed HannaHana by doing that but noticed it and got her back as fast as I could. So sorry about your infection, but am happy that you are caught up on your school work.

You know what the funny thing is, I was thinking about you a lot yesterday and had to check to see if you removed me as a friend, or did I remove you by accident because I do that sometimes when I go to Give a Hug, I hit Remove Friend by mistake. I was so happy to see that we were still friends. I was going to send you a hug today, but you beat me to it. I have been hypo ever since Tues. and loving every minute of it until it messes with my sleep like it's been doing. How the heck are you doing?
students service is wonderful..son also gets extra time in a different room for testing is nice and quite..........he also has shuttle services.. if he need it..to the car or to the class room or anywhere else he needs to go if hes having problems.. I'm his school aid so I ride with him

I was diagnosed in 93. Denied it many times as do all BP's. I've been married for 12yrs now. I have a 9yr old and a 20yr old. I also have a 13yr old neice that Im raising, two boxers, one chiuahuah, two birds, 2 ferrets a hamster and 2 cats. Ive tried every med under the sun but I think I finally found a combo that works.
My first migrain was when I was 16yrs old and boy was it a doozy.
Friday Nov.2nd I had a heart attack brought on by a migrain headache medication. Doctor claim this is extreamly rare. Go figure! It would be me!
Found out I had cancer when I was 31 and was told that If I wanted a child I had better get preg. now so I did. after the birth of my son they said if I wanted another one to go for it before the cancer spreads. I opted to go ahead with a hystorectomy. I wish I would have had one more child.
