Close Infertility
Type: EndometriosisHusband and I have been TTC since April 2006. Had a laparoscopy done in Sept. 07 and I had Stage 2 endometriosis on both ovaries, which the doctor removed. Got PG 3 months later on our own but miscarried. Have done 4 failed IUI's and beginning IVF process soon.
Treatments
- Artificial Insemination Not Working
- Beginning my 1st round now (08/08)-BFN! 2nd round 9/29/08-BFN! 3rd round starting 10/30/08-BFN! 4th and FINAL round 2/09-BFN! On to IVF.
- Clomid Not Working
- Took before my lap for 3 consecutive months w/ no results. Currently taking for my IUI-1st round on 100mg-got one big follice (19mm) but BFN. 2nd round on 50mg -got 3 big ones (2 at 20mm and one at 18mm)BFN.
- Folic Acid Working / Worked
- Have taken prenatal vitamins FOREVER it seems.
- Follistim Too Soon to Tell
- Did 4 days of Bravelle on 3rd IUI. Not sure how many follicles it produced as I ovulated early and the u/s was done too late. Taking again w/ IUI#4-produced lots of follies on both ovaries but ended w/ BFN.
- hCG (Human Chorionic Gonadotropin) Working / Worked
- Makes me ovulate but no BFP yet!
- HSG (Hysterosalpingography) Somewhat Helpful
- Both tubes are clear (after 2 HSGs).
- In Vitro Fertilization Too Soon to Tell
- First cyle worked!
- Ovulation Predictor Kit Working / Worked
- Works. I ovulate every month around the same time according to the tests.
- Prayer Working / Worked
- The power of prayer is awesome!
- Progesterone Too Soon to Tell
- Nasty stuff! Made me very irritable.
Close Anxiety
In 2005, I changed jobs and started having major anxiety accompanied by panic attacks. My doc put me on cymbalta which worked wonders. I stayed on it for 6 months and decided to get off of it because my husband and I wanted to start trying for a family. I still have many rough days w/o the medicine because I am having a hard time conceiving.

- BuSpar Not Working
- Made me extremely dizzy..hated it.
- Cymbalta Working / Worked
- It worked!
- Xanax Working / Worked
- My miracle pill! Has got me out of many horrible situations!
Open Pregnancy
1/6/08. Found out today that I am pregnant after 2 years of TTC:) m/c 5 days later:( Udate: 5/09 - We are pregnant from our first IVF! Due date is Jan 17th.:)
Open Miscarriage
After almost 2 yrs of TTC we found out we were pregnant only to find out 5 days later, I had miscarried. Been trying on our own since but are now turning to fertility treatments.
Open Pregnancy After Loss/Infertility
After 3 yrs TTC, numerous fertility meds, 4 failed IUIs, 1 m/c (on a break), we got our BFP on 1st IVF:) We are cautiously excited and pray for a healthy 9 months!
