Just a quick update to let all my friends know, I am doing well. The chemo was ok...Im a little bit tired but apartr from that, no obvious side efects...yet!!
I have been back at work full time all week and I have loved it! I do rest up at night though, lie on the sofa after dinner, watch a bit of tele etc, it seems to be working out fine.
I have my 2nd appt for chemo on 20th July, they are doing it all in one day now, rather than 1.5....so thats a lot easier for me for work and for lifts (they wont let me drive for my chemo!!)
I have an appt with my hairdresser tomorrow so he can style my wig, in preparation for me neeeding it. I am still undecided as to whether I should wait and see what happens or just get my hair cut very short now and wear the wig...decisions, decisions.....lol
So, all in all...its good....

Hello there,
I am a little confused, are you having chemo for the treatment of ovarian cancer? You are certainly being strong! You will find quite a wonderful support system here on DS. I love all my "sisters" here.
I live in the states, but have visited Ireland 2X. Never made it up to the North.
My husband's family originally were from the western coast. We stayed in the most delightful town, Cooreclare, on both visits.
I am also an animal lover. Right now, nurse Bucky, my very large, polydactyl, siamese is keeping me company.
