So, today (this afternoon) I am going back to work, 3 weeks and 4 days after surgery. To hell with this 6 weeks lark....lol. I feel fine, its a desk job and in a way, I guess I also want to get back to normality.
I am due to start chemo this Monday or the next (I dont know yet) and as its every 3 weeks, I cant just sit around waiting to know if I am going to feel ill or not. They cant tell how anyone reacts to chemo, I might be quite ill, I might be fine. So, I will suck it and see......lol
SO cant wait to get back to my desk....Im a happy bunny!!!

It took me a lot longer to return to work due to surgical complications - more like six months but I was really happy to finally get back to a more normal life. I do enjoy my job and it helps to have distractions. Best wishes, Janet
