What wonderful work friends you have. I can well understand why you wanted to carry on working.. just can't get over how quickly the time has gone. The three monthly check ups are extremely important now. I want to stress that to you because of my own experience. I was diagnosed stage 1b nearly nine years ago with a 95% chance of a cure. My Ca125 went down to 3 after the initial op and I was very complacent and didn't even want to bother with the chemo, but was talked into it. I carried on with the three monthly, then six monthly, visits for about four years (should have been five years) and then decided they weren't necessary. Three years after that I decided to have blood test and my CA125 was over 200. So seven years later I discovered the cancer had returned. It could have returned any time in the tree year gap I had. I was stage 3 then and now I am stage 4.. so please keep going for those check ups however much you would like to just forget about the whole experience. It is tough having to keep on having to face it, but we will all be here to support you during those times.
Have a fabulous holiday.. I will be looking forward to hearing all about it.. huge love and hugs to you.. Inka xxx -

Hooray you are done! Just recovering from the last round's side effects and then back to normal. Have a wonderful time in Spain - what a nice follow-up to a rugged time. Then come back and tell us all about it. I've never been to Spain. I'm only halfway done - December 4 is my last chemo. Much love and healing thoughts, Janet
